GET TO KNOW ME!

I am a senior at Baylor University studying Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Business Administration. I am 21 years old and originally from Houston, Texas. My career goal is to be a news anchor! I love writing and videography, and the combination of both to create a final product is one of my favorite parts of my current curriculum.

I did a 3 month summer internship at KWTX in Waco, Texas over summer of 2024. It was one of my favorite experiences I've ever had the pleasure of doing! I also have experience with a variety of web programs including Adobe's Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition, and InDesign. I am certified in Google's Analytics training. I am equipped to use advanced videography equipment like cameras, tripods, sound systems  and lighting structures.

At Baylor, I am a Broadcast Reporter for Lariat TV News, a student publication, where I produce stories and anchor. I am also a member of the Theta Kappa chapter of the Chi Omega sorority. I am currently serving as the Videography Chair, filming at every event to have footage to use for future promotional videos and creating Instagram reels (as well as some personal portfolio pieces, seen on my Portfolio page).

I am set to graduate in May of 2025. After graduation, I would love to join the journalism work force any way I can. Whether my path stays in Texas or leads me abroad to somewhere new, I am open to the possibilities.
